Hey Sam, Hope all is well. I am starting to see some bucks in hard antler so I am sure the trees at Oak Ridge are getting a work out! Good luck this season.

Well if you want to catch steelhead you go with Oak Ridge White tail adventures. Weather you like to fish the big river or small creeks Sam Holley will put you on the fish and I mean on the fish. This is a must vacation for the Fly fisherman. The lodge is a classic for the outdoorsman; Sonya Sam's wife will provide you with outstanding home cooking. This is my second outdoor adventures with the Holley's and all aspects of your vacation will be covered. Yes the turkey hunting was not as eventful as I would have liked but that is why it is called hunting not shooting. There were plenty of bearded birds. For the Turkey hunter ideal property conditions. One other final note, when you leave you adventure you will be to be acquainted with some great people. Richard Newell 04/20/2011

Yes, we have seen a few of the bucks dropping their antlers already. Usually the mature bucks that are dropping this early have been dinged up during the rut. We have also started to see some of the younger bucks shedding already and it seems to be about a month earlier than last year.

Oak Ridge Whitail Adventure is the REAL DEAL! Beau and I had a GREAT TIME hunting with Sam.I have hunted all over the world but seeing the excitment on my sons face as he harvested a enormus 187 inch buck with Sams help made this the GREATEST HUNTING EXPERENCE of our lifes. The Lodge, cooking,Guiding, and friendships are all FIRST CLASS. Every one that hunts with Sam comes as a client but leaves as a Friend. We will return for another hunt in the future as my son talks about his deer and his hunt every day. Many Thanks to Sam and Sonja

Yes, I shot some video of him a couple a days ago with velvet hanging everywhere. He was two thirds shed and had been rubbing. Now if I could figure out how to get the video out of the camera and onto the website. No still photos yet. Sam
