|Whitetail Hunting Preserve Promotional Video
A visit with Sam Holley, owner of Oak Ridge Whiatetail Adventure Hunting Preserve.
This video was taken while crossbow hunting with Jack during early season. We saw several great bucks and were able to take a unique drop tine buck.
Kevin and I were lucky enough to witness this huge buck working a scrape during a late October bow hunt. He ended up busting us right after the video was taken.
Early November can be very exciting here at Oak Ridge and these two bucks were very serious about figuring out a boss!
|Christmas Buck 2009
An exciting hunt in the winter of 2009.
|View from the loft at the Oak Ridge Lodge
This is the view from the loft area in the Oak Ridge hunting lodge. There are three twin beds in this area. The two bucks and turkey on the wall were shot on the property within the past few years.
|The first floor in the Lodge
This is the first floor of the Oak Ridge hunting lodge. You will see the fully equipped kitchen, two private bedrooms and an ADA bathroom. You will enjoy your down time at the lodge watching DirectTV on the flat screen HDTV. The field in front of the Lodge is where the video of the buck tending a scrape was shot.
|Oak Ridge Bucks and Does
This is a buck tending a doe during the November 2009 rut. Please watch all the way to the end of the video. You will see another big buck walking over to check out the action.
|Oak Ridge Bedded Buck
This Oak Ridge Buck is bedded down for this November 2009 afternoon. He is watching a doe in some heavy cover out of camera view.
|Oak Ridge Buck working a scrape
This buck is working a scrape within ten yards of a ladder stand. Please notice that the lodge you will be staying in is in the background about 150 yards from this deer.
|Oak Ridge Scrapes 2009
These are scrapes made during the 2009 rut. The trees surround a new food plot. There is a ladder stand on one end of the field set in a position for bow hunters.
|The view from the Oak Ridge stand named Condo
This buck came up from behind the Condo stand hot on a trail. This stand is a fully enclosed box blind with seating for three hunters. The stand has operating windows that control scent as well as the cold. This stand is great for kid's because it hides all movement!
